Chargers Basketball Ends 2024 with a Big Win

The Chargers men's basketball team wrapped up 2024 on a high note, defeating Community Christian College-Tennessee Valley 87-74 in an exciting home game. Sophomore Thaddeus Johnson led the charge with a stellar performance, posting 21 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists.

Sophomore Jarrod Taylor added 12 points and 2 steals, while Simeon Williams contributed 10 points and 5 rebounds to help secure the victory. The team's effort on both ends of the court showcased their determination and depth as they prepare for the next phase of the season.

This win marks the Chargers' 11th victory of the season, bringing their overall record to 11-1 and an impressive 5-1 in conference play. With momentum on their side, the Chargers are set to return after the new year to host the highly anticipated Charger Classic on January 3 and 4, 2025.
