Chargers Dominate Pirates in Impressive Victory
The Columbia State Chargers delivered an outstanding performance on Saturday, January 4th, defeating the Pensacola College Pirates 65-48 at Webster Gym during the Chargers Classic. The Pirates, who entered the game with an 11-5 record, were held to their lowest scoring output of the season by the Chargers' tenacious defense.
Thaddeus Johnson led the way for Columbia State, pouring in 22 points, including four clutch three-pointers. Taveon Comage added 19 points, providing strong support to secure the victory.
With the win, the Chargers improve to an impressive 12-2 record. Fans won't have to wait long to see the team in action again, as the Chargers are set to face Bryan College JV on Wednesday, January 8th, with a noon tip-off at Webster Gym.
