Chargers Dominate Volunteer State to Claim First Place in Region 7
The Columbia State Chargers delivered a commanding performance Wednesday night at Webster Athletic Center, defeating the Volunteer State Pioneers 89-48 in a crucial Region 7 matchup to secure first place in the conference.
Sophomore Thaddeus Johnson led the Chargers with 19 points, while sophomore Simeon Williams contributed 14 points and six rebounds. Freshman Emanuel Allen nearly notched a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, and sophomore Mahki Wright added 10 points and eight rebounds.
