Chargers Dominate Green Jays with 94-70 Victory
The Columbia State Chargers secured a decisive 94-70 win over the Green Jays from Jackson State on Wednesday night at Webster Gym.
Sophomore Thaddeus Johnson led the charge with 21 points and three assists, while fellow sophomore Simeon Williams contributed 18 points and five rebounds. Freshman Taveon Comage added 12 points and six rebounds, with freshman Kenneth Ellis chipping in 10 points. Mahki Wright controlled the boards with 11 rebounds and added seven points to the stat sheet.
With this victory, the Chargers improve to 20-3 overall and 11-2 in conference play. As the 2024-2025 season winds down, the team is gearing up for the Region 7 Tournament at Southwest Tennessee Community College in March.
