Chargers Edge Out Roane State in Thrilling 87-85 Victory
The Columbia State Chargers pulled off a hard-fought 87-85 win against the Roane State Raiders on Saturday at Webster Gym. In a game that went down to the wire, the Chargers found a way to secure the victory and improve their record to 22-3 overall and 13-2 in conference play.
Sophomore Mahki Wright led the way with a dominant performance, scoring 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Sophomore Thaddeus Johnson added 19 points, while freshman Taveon Comage contributed 15 points to the Chargers' offensive effort.
With only three regular-season games remaining, the Chargers look to keep their momentum going as they host Walters State on Saturday, February 22, at 4 p.m. at Webster Gym.
