Chargers Basketball Season Ends in NJCAA Tournament
The Chargers Basketball team saw their remarkable season come to an end on Saturday in the first round of the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. In a hard-fought battle, the Chargers fell just short against Triton College, losing 58-55 to conclude their season with an impressive 27-5 record.
Despite the tough loss, the Chargers showcased their resilience and talent on the national stage. Mahki Wright closed out his Columbia State career with a stellar performance, leading the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Thaddeus Johnson added 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Taveon Comage contributed 9 points. Emanuel Allen and Simeon Williams also made key contributions, scoring 6 and 4 points, respectively.
