Lady Chargers Split Series with Southwest Tennessee in TCCAA Showdown
The Lady Chargers Softball team hosted the Southwest Tennessee Lady Saluqis at Eddie Campbell Field for an exciting TCCAA doubleheader. The teams split the twin bill, with the Lady Chargers claiming victory in game one, 11-5, before falling 10-3 in game two.
In game one, Samantha Staggs pitched a complete game, securing her third win of the season. She went seven innings, allowing just three hits and five runs (two earned) while striking out seven. Staggs also contributed offensively, going 2-for-4 with a double and scoring three runs.
