Lady Chargers Dominate Region 7 Matchup Against Cleveland State

The Lady Chargers traveled east for a Region 7 showdown against the Cleveland State Lady Cougars and emerged victorious with an impressive 78-62 win. This victory improves the Lady Chargers' record to 5-0 in conference play and 5-2 overall.

Lily Melton led the charge with a phenomenal performance, scoring a game-high 42 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and adding 2 blocks and 3 assists. Ansley Burleson also had a strong showing with 20 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

Key contributions came from Jacie Scott, who tallied 8 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds, while Jacqueline Hardrick added 2 points, 3 steals, and 7 rebounds. Tennley Dowty chipped in with 4 points and 7 rebounds, and Queen Benjamin rounded out the effort with 2 points and 9 rebounds.
