Lady Chargers Fall to Southwest Saluqis in Memphis

The Lady Chargers faced a tough challenge on the road last night, dropping a Region 7 matchup against the Southwest Saluqis in Memphis, 73-64.

Sophomore Ansley Burleson led the team with an impressive performance, scoring 19 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Freshmen Braley Burleson and Lily Melton also had strong outings, each contributing 16 points. Melton added 7 rebounds to her stat line.

With the loss, the Lady Chargers move to 7-7 overall and 6-2 in TCCAA play.

The team will look to bounce back this Saturday, January 18th, when they host the Lady Tigers at 2:00 pm.
