Lady Chargers Drop Close Contest Against Walters State
On Saturday, the Columbia State Lady Chargers hosted Walters State in a hard-fought game that ended in a 56-47 loss for the home team. Despite the tough outcome, the Lady Chargers showcased strong individual performances. Freshman Jacqueline Hardrick led the team with 14 points and 6 rebounds, while Jacie Scott contributed 12 points and 7 rebounds. Tennley Dowty also made her mark, scoring 9 points in the contest.
The loss comes as the Lady Chargers gear up for the TCCAA tournament, with just two regular-season games remaining. The team currently holds an overall record of 15-9 and boasts a solid 14-4 record in TCCAA play.
