Chargers Fall to Wallace State, Look Ahead to Conference Play
On Tuesday, the Columbia State Chargers traveled to Hanceville, Alabama, to take on Wallace State but came up short in both games, falling 3-0 and 3-1.
In Game 1, the Chargers struggled offensively, managing just three hits from Hutson Miles, Arturo Rodriguez, and Hunter Reeb. Pitcher Adam Jamison took the loss, allowing three runs on four hits over three innings while striking out two.
Game 2 saw the Chargers generate more offense with six hits, including a strong 3-for-3 performance from John Carter. Michael McClellan, Cade Hitson, and Russ Lambert each added a hit, while Jackson Riedling drove in the team's only run of the day. JC Myers took the loss on the mound, surrendering three earned runs on one hit over three innings.
