Chargers Sweep Wallace State in Doubleheader
The Chargers baseball team delivered an impressive performance at Dave Hall Field, sweeping Wallace State in a doubleheader and boosting their season record to 6-11.
In game one, the Chargers secured an 8-5 victory. Arturo Rodriguez led the offense, going 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBIs. Hutson Miles contributed with a 1-for-3 performance, driving in 2 runs. Jackson Riedling added to the tally, going 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBIs. Brady Hendrix and Anthony Pastrana each chipped in with an RBI, while Derek Valentin-Luciano added a hit to round out the lineup. On the mound, Brayden Kercado started the game, pitching 3 innings and allowing 3 earned runs on 5 hits, striking out 2.
