Chargers Dominate Grand Rapids with 11-1 Victory
On Thursday, the Chargers baseball team delivered a commanding 11-1 win over Grand Rapids at Dave Hall Field, improving their overall record to 7-11.
Tyler Jenkins led the offense, going 3-for-5 with a triple and 3 RBIs, while Camden Vaughn went 2-for-3 and scored 3 runs. Russ Lambert added to the scoring surge, going 2-for-3 with 2 RBIs. Cade Hitson (triple), Clint Seymore, Arturo Rodriguez, and Kaito Muto each contributed a hit, bringing the Chargers' total to 11 hits for the game.
On the mound, JC Myers secured the win, pitching 3 innings with 2 hits, 1 run (earned), and 3 strikeouts.
The Chargers now hit the road to Gallatin, TN, for a weekend series against the Volunteer State Pioneers as they continue TCCAA play.
